She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hammack and Irene Hammack (Hood); her sons, Brent Merryman and Garry Merryman, Jr.; her husband Steve Fahnestock; and her brothers, Tommy, Lonny and Danny Hammack.

She is survived by: her sons, Danny Merryman of Neosho and Tim Merryman of Neosho; her grandchildren, Brittany Burnaugh, Timmy Merryman, Jr., Norbert Ayala, III, Paige Merryman, Danielle Merryman and Nicole Preciado; her great grandchildren, A. J. and Louis Burnaugh; her daughter Jeanette Ayala; her sisters-in-law, Lois Hammack and Florence Hammack of Neosho; and her aunt Hopie Ross. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
