He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Cooper and Ollie Cooper (Tuggle); his grandson Frank Kody Long; and his brother Fred Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lewis; his daughters, Teresa Moore (Chris) of Ames and Tanya Briggs of Carl Junction, Missouri; his siblings, Frank Cooper (Neomi) of Lee's Summit, Ed Cooper (Gale) of Granby, Missouri and Doris Rogers (Richard Warren) of Smithville, Missouri; his sister-in-law Marilyn Cooper of Carthage, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Devin Moore (Megan), Ashlee Moore, Olivia Moser, Alexis Moser and Danica Briggs.
