She was predeceased by: her grandmother Jelly; her parents, Roy Akins and Stella Akins; and her husband Jack Mears. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Martin (Wes), Greg Mears (Carolina Beach), Derrick Mears (Jodi) and Brad Mears (Kerri); her grandchildren, Kori (Caleb), Adam (Cherie), Bryan (Sarah), Mandy (Sam), Michael (Nicole), Jade (Josh), Conner, Gavin, Callie and Madison; and her great grandchildren, Logan, River, Kason, August, Ari, Atticus, Embry and Mia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oak Pointe of Neosho or Gentiva Hospice of Neosho.
