He was predeceased by: his parents, Othneal Hembree and Norma Jean Hembree (Minson); his daughter Delores Hembree; and his siblings, Judy Cartwright and Jack Hembree.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hobson; his son Danniel Hembree of Neosho; his sisters, Laura Severs of Joplin, Dolly Ackerson (David) of Seneca and Vickie Beasley of Republic; his granddaughter Abby Hembree of Joplin; and his close friend Jack Jones.
