Ben Montez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2021, at the age of 79, Ben Montez of Neosho, Missouri, born in Boone, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martin Montez (Lolo) and Edna Montez (Abalos); his children, B. J. Montez (Tabby) of Neosho and Audrey Russell (Marcus) of Neosho; his grandchildren, Alexus, Victoria, Josiah, Kylee, Isaiah, Mariah, Isaac, Ben-Ben and Harley; his brother Fernando Montez (Minerva); his brother-in-law Dennis Barela of Boone, Colorado.; and his siblings, Alvin, Ike (Lil) and Mona Barela.

Contributions in memory of Ben may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
