He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anthony and Dena Mae Briggs (Green); and his brother John Stephen Briggs. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Thomas (Kevin) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, John Thomas Briggs (Sheenah) of Joplin and Alan Kenneth "Kenney" Briggs (Chelsa) of Fairview, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Aidan, Kylie Thomas, Masyn, Parker Briggs, Rhyder Dumas and Sayler Briggs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (1314 Oak Ridge Dr, Neosho, MO 64850).
