He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Scheid and Vivian Dial Scheid; and his son Ken Scheid. He is survived by: his spouse Terry Wilson; his son Chris Scheid (Donna) of Marshall; his stepchildren, Jimmy O'Bryan of Napton and Lisa Jewell (Bobby) of Marshall; and his siblings, Alma Anson of Marshall, Susan DePriest of Arrow Rock, Harold Scheid of Marshall and Edwin Scheid (Beth) of Montgomery City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Heath Creek Cemetery Association in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
