He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Stroup and Ola Stroup (Smith); and his siblings, Linda Gloth and Gary Wayne Stroup, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Medora "Dora" Stroup; his sons, Robert Dale Stroup, Erayna of Boonville and Jeffrey Lynn Stroup (Cheryl) of Russellville, Missouri; his siblings, Betty Sheley of Lincoln, Debbie Cook of Lincoln and Larry Stroup of Springfield, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Amanda "Mandy" Self (Stroup) of Russellville, Blake Stroup of Russellville and Adam Stroup (Alycia "Aly") of Jefferson City. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
