It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Lloyd Short of Neelyville, Missouri, born in Success, Arkansas, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odes Short and Mildred Luermann Short; his son Brad Short; his brother Wayne Short; and his brother-in-law Charles Schif.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Coffey; his daughter Renee Ritter (Steve) of Williford, Arkansas; his siblings, Kenneth Short (Dottie) of Houston, Texas, Shirley Schif and Wanda Wyatt (Wendell) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Isbell (Bob) of Dexter, Missouri and Lewis "Bud" Coffey of Dexter, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
