He is survived by: his brother Knowlton; his child Ryan Ainley; his brother Danny; his wife Patsy Carter; his children, Jason Tharp (Ada), Chasidy Sullivan (Jeff), Shane Tharp (Dacota) and Travis Tharp (Dana); and his brother Terry Tharp (Diane).
