He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Griffin and Veda Thompson Griffin; his daughter Amy Lynn Griffin; and his siblings, Delores Dehollander, Lillie Barnes, Juanita Merrill, Fern Teachout and Warren Griffin (Sonny).

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Walker; his sons, Shon Griffin of Naylor and Joey Griffin (Crystal) of Doniphan; and his siblings, Lillian Braschler and Aubrey Griffin.
