He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herschel Hobbs and Ruth "Stoker" Hobbs; and his sister Jerry Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Helen Nipper; his children, Larry Hobbs (Carol) of Sandy Run, Garry Hobbs (Patty) of Poplar Bluff, Susie Spargo (Rick) of Doniphan, Brenda Wells of Poplar Bluff and Nancy Yergler (Tom) of Rantoul; and his sister Phyllis Sue Miller of Fenton, Missouri.. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
