She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martin "Red" Meadors and Luly Pearl "Tillman" Meadors; her husband Larry Gene Bruton; her son Martin "Marty" Bruton; and her siblings, Wilma Ward, Wanda Toye, Freda Coon, Buck Meadors, Larry Meadors and Donald Steve Meadors.

She is survived by: her son Wade Bruton of Kennett; and her sisters, Linda Hinkle of Doniphan, Janet Shearn of Doniphan, Faye Royer of Doniphan and Jetty Mathis of Poplar Bluff, Missouri..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home (16984 Old Hwy 67, Neelyville, MO 63954). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
