He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Garrison and Lucille Garrison; his grandchildren, Eric Garrison and Amanda Honeycutt; his brothers, Carroll Garrison and Bill Garrison; and his siblings-in-law, Ernie Bray, Jackie Gann and Janet Gann.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Mae Gann; his children, Howard Thomas Jr. (Kathy) of Pocahontas, Linda Honeycutt (Jeff) of Mammoth Spring, Janet Ward (Lanny) of Salem and Sherman Garrison (Kelly) of Myrtle, Missouri; his siblings, David Garrison (Brenda), Steve Garrison (Rochelle) and Kathy Huddleston (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Emma Garrison, Betty Garrison, Jim Gann (Shirley), Charles Gann and Gary Gann (Opal). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; two great-great grandchildren.
