He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Willis Thompson and Velia Ola Combs; his wife Alma Thompson; his daughter Patricia Lucille Thompson; and his great grandchild Dhane Hogan.
He is survived by: his son Robert Thompson (Candy); his grandchildren, Tiffany Thompson (Goran Simovski), Eric Thompson and Tonya Coleman (Robert); his great grandchildren, Dylan Hogan, Jeffrey Unland, Colton Unland, Ava Simovski, Cody Coleman and Bentley Coleman; his great great grandchild Jeffrey Unland III; and his brothers, Boyd and Billy Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
