We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2022, at the age of 68, Ricky Dean Swope (Mountain View, Missouri), born in Pittsburg, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mothers, Avery Dean and Betty Swope (Brand); his grandparents, Elvyn, Hazel Swope, Fred and Catherine Brand; and his aunt Shirley Swope.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Chowning (Dent); his children, Steve, Sara Chowning, Travis, Kristy Reese of Mountain View, MO and Garrett Swope of Nevada, MO; his grandchildren, Micah Cunningham, McKenna Chowning, Kiah Jo Reese, Gavin Reese, Jake Wilson, Trenton Barker and Ryan Barker; his sister Cathy Swope (Steve James); his nieces and nephews, Janey, Caleigh, Aubrie Nichols, Melanee and Jon Beaman; and his mother-in-law Faye Vickers.
