It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reva Vietta Chaney of Mountain View, Missouri, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Andrew Woodworth and Mamie Bland Woodworth; her siblings, Erma Taylor, Rose Woodworth and Ira Woodworth; her husband Roy E. Chaney; her stepsons, Danny Chaney and Dennis Chaney; and her granddaughter Auburn Chaney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Trask (Mark) of Owasso, OK, Marsha Dale of Mountain View, MO and Connie Kennedy (Jim) of Pontotoc, MS; her stepson Dale Chaney of Birch Tree, MO.; and her grandchildren, Christina Emmons, Tiffany Emmons, Melanie Trask, Justin Dale, Ashley Kelly, Courtney Day, Nicholas Bradford, Brandy Bradford, Brian Chaney, Sarah Chaney, Ray Chaney, Davey Chaney, Dane Chaney and Angeline Chaney. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Yarber Mortuary-Mountain View (621 E 5th St, Mountain View, MO 65548). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
