He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Staton and Dorothy Staton; his brothers-in-law, Jim Gehlken and Bill Eudy; and his great-niece Kristie Gehlken.
He is survived by: his wife Tisha (Letitia Smith); his children, Cindy Asberry (Dave) and Glen Staton (Christina); his grandchildren, Savannah Staton, Ethan Swank, Alyssa Staton and Justin Staton; and his sisters, Emma Gehlken, Blanche Reese (Kenneth) and Glenda Eudy. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces; plus many great and great-great-nephews and nieces.
