It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Maxine Holden of Mountain View, Missouri, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Arthur and Ethel Green (Paschal); her spouse Cecil W. Holden; her son Bill; her son-in-law Ralph Harris; and her siblings, Arthur Green, Ancil Green, Harold Green and Venita Terrill.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert Holden (Maria), Elaine Harris and Olivia Dixon (Ron); her grandchildren, Cecil A. Holden, Benjamin Harris, Tim Harris, Frank Harris and Clint Elam; her sister-in-law Marietta Holden; her nieces and nephews, Rolla, Chris, Lesa and Clayton Steen; and her close friends, Leonor Vazquez Horn and John Swift. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain View Public Library Fund and left at the funeral home.
