It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Boss in Mountain View, Missouri, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Lon Gates; her husband Clifford Boss; her mother Violet Gates Clark (Ward); and her sisters, Betty Rayfield, Rosemary McBride and Marjorie Williams.
She is survived by: her former husband Danny Staples; her children, Richard and Robin Staples of Eminence, MO; her brother Lon J. Gates (Annie) of Jefferson City, MO; and her grandchildren, Holly Smith (Mike), Rachel Green (Joe), Elizabeth Hockett (Jory) and Danny Staples (Kate). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
