He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred William and Elsie May Popken (Reher); and his son Roger Popken. He is survived by: his wife Donna Popken; his children, Cathy Harris, Alan Popken and Dale Popken; and his sister Rose Anne McCleary. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Veteran's Cemetery-Mountain View (1019 E 3rd St, Mountain View, MO 65548).
His contributions to the homes and lives of many will not be forgotten.
