She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Gilley and Tanna Gilley (Woody); her husband James "Jay" Gentry; her son Dennis Welch; her stepson Eddie Gentry; and her siblings, Afton, Charley, Melvin, Arnold Gilley, Sylvia Sutherland and Ruby Wyscaver.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Koontz (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Stacy Hylton (Shane), Kerri Rodgers (Brandon), Amy Berry (John) and Ruskin Welch (Alisha); her stepdaughter Editha Simmons (Gentry); her stepgrandchildren, Riley and Mandy; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Elley, Charlee, Dusty, Bristol, Brody, Owen and Dawson; her great great grandchildren, Coleman and Willa; and her sister Doris Clark. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
