He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Welch; his son Stanley J. Welch; and his parents, Sherman Welch and Beffie Welch. He is survived by: his children, June Dodge (Welch), Larry of Tulare and Vance Welch Jr.; his wife Amanda of Afton; and also, Teresa Phillips (Welch) and Steve Welch (Sally) of Fort Brag. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
