She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Edison "Bunk" and Dortha Burgin (Burris); her husband Ellis Gass; and her siblings, Wayne, Les Burgin, Lela Cooper and Lula Lackey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Ciabocci (Mike) of Little Rock and Sheryl Dossett (Brynel) of McPherson; her siblings, Lavern Walker of Yakima and Jerry Burgin (Linda) of Toppenish; her sister-in-law Barbara Burgin of Ava; and her grandchildren, McKiefer Dossett (Staci) of McPherson and Serci Dossett (Brent) of Lawrence. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
