He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Hutsell and Emma Carter Hutsell; his wife Geraldine Hutsell; and his sisters, Lucille Carr and Val Hall.

He is survived by: his children, Kaye LeGrow of Weston and Randy Hutsell of Dallas, Texas; and his brother Doyle Hutsell of Houston, Missouri. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
