He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Charles Westerman Sr. and Elizabeth Moser Westerman; his sisters, Judy and Kathy; and his sister-in-law Joyce Humphrey.

He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Mary Beth Arthur (David) and Rick Humphrey.
