She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Kirkland and Causby Kirkland (Anderson); her stepfather Roy Wheat; and her siblings, Bob Kirkland and Pauline Gasperson.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Sloan (Rex). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
