She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Owens and Ruby Owens (Reaves); her husband Jim Thornhill; her daughters, Carrol Wagoner (Mings), Beverly Helsley (Mings) and Annette Louise Mings; her granddaughter Dee Anna Koerner (Wagoner); her sister Vivian Turner (Owens); and her brother-in-law Carl Turner.
She is survived by: her former spouses, Dale A. Mings and Jimmie Thornhill; her son Gary Mings of Mountain Grove; her grandchildren, Shawna Helsley of Branson, Chris Snyder (Audri) of Wichita, Holly Helsley of Marshfield, Michika Linton (Josh) of Platte City and Sarah Hammett (Adam) of Vanzant; her great grandchildren, Jake Koerner, Kyerra Snyder, Gunner Snyder, Gavin Linton, Aubree Linton, Emma Linton, Jade Birt, Faith Birt and Garrett Hammett; her son-in-law Bruce Helsley of Marshfield; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Lawson of Rawlings. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins from a large extended family.
