He was predeceased by: his siblings, Billy Hoots and Marjorie Scott. He is survived by: his son Kelly Hoots of Mountain Grove; his grandchildren, Haley Hoots of Springfield, Kaleb Hoots of Mountain Grove, Preston Johnson of Seymour and Hannah Hoots of Mountain Grove; his great grandchildren, Daylynn Hoots and Brynlee Goodwin; his sister Kathleen Scott; and also Lucille Steffey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
