With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Johnston (Mountain Grove, Missouri), born in Yarmouth, Iowa, who passed away on February 25, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Borders and Clara Josephine Borders (Young); her husband J. R. Johnston; her grandsons, David Mason and Chris Mason; her siblings, Howard Borders, Marion Borders and Edna Geest; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Geest, George Webster, Bill Olson and Barbara Borders.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert, Herbie Johnston (Jeanie) of Norwood and Mary Ann Mason (Billy) of Norwood; her granddaughter Cassie Ferguson (Tyler) of West Fork; her great grandchildren, Kyle Mason and Levi Mason of Mountain Grove; her great great grandchildren, Anistyn Mason and Rydge Mason of Mountain Grove; her siblings, Cleo Borders (Cora) of Davenport, Willard Borders of Alpha, Lola Webster of Rock Island and Mable Olson of Des Moines; and her sister-in-law Jean Borders of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
