Gail Lawson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Lawson (Mountain Grove, Missouri), who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gail Lawson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Wynona Weatherford (Luter) and Frank Carter Weatherford; her son Craig Fields; and her brothers, Wendell Weatherford and Roy Weatherford.
She is survived by: her former spouse Lee Roy Fields; her children, Sheri Fields Stofer (Jeff) and Brian Fields; her husband Huey Lawson; and her stepchildren, Kirk Lawson, Jan Lawson and Gary Keith Lawson. She is also survived by several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Per her request, in lieu of a service or flowers, as part of her academic legacy, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be sent directly to Norwood High School in her name in support of the 2023 Gail Lawson Academic Scholarship, offered to a graduating senior that is seeking a degree in the science field.
