He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vancil and Wilma Vancil; his sisters, Jeanie Finch and Evelyn Vancil; his wife Barbara Vancil; his children, Leland Sanders and Barbara Gray; his grandchildren, Austin Sanders and Magic Dawn Vancil; and his great great grandchild Anastasia Clasen.
He is survived by: his former wife Eleanor Siemsen; his son Bob Vancil; his daughter-in-law Joy of Norwood, Missouri; his son Terry Sanders; his children-in-law, Dede of Branson, Missouri and David Gray of Norwood, Missouri.; and his grandchildren, Shane Gray, Carrie Alexander (John), Brea Negron (Ben), Shaun Gray (Kinder), Jamie Vancil, Jennifer Shortino, Tabi Rodden (Will), Shelby Gray (Nikki), Evan Sanders (Peyton), Justin Locke (Megan), Amy Locke, Aaron Locke (Jessie), Miranda Vancil, Devon Locke and Zaydin Vancil.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Thomas Cemetery.
