With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fay Housley of Mountain Grove, Missouri, born in Hartville, Missouri, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Yeager and Bercha Yeager (Robson); her husband Leroy Housley; her sister Shirley Yeager; and her nephew Terry Conley.
She is survived by: her son John Housley (Robin); her niece Janet Schwertfeger (Mark); her grandchildren, Lucinda Luetkemeyer (Tony), Lydia Anderson (Brett), John Mark Schwertfeger (Shonda) and Liz Dowden (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Graham, Maggie Anderson, Santana, Jace, Brooks Schwertfeger, Oakley, Cooper Leroy Dowden and Luetkemeyer; and her extended family Sherry Conley. She is also survived by many great-nephews and great-nieces, and many neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery North Main.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Grove Christian Academy or The Gideons in care of the funeral home.
