He was predeceased by: his parents, Dulcie Thornhill (Durney) and Bernie Thornhill; his children, Rodney Thornhill and Diane Yarber; the mother of his children Judy Thornhill; his siblings, Elaine James, Gene Thornhill and Wallace Thornhill; and his great grandchild Dusty Guenther.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Graham (Scott) of Mountain Grove, Linda Murr (Keith) of Graff, Kelly Byrd of Joplin, Christie Keene (Jack) of Mountain Grove and Lori Lane of Springfield; his sister-in-law Carolyn Thornhill; his half-siblings, Leland Thornhill, Gary Thornhill and Janet Thompson; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Eric, Kirsten, Billy, Anthony, Danielle, Trevor, Jesse, Candice, Wyatt, Carrie, Amber, Emma, Kaylee, Elliot and Rami. He is also survived by one great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Cemetery (5488 MO-95, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
