He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Raney and Jewell Suppes (Hayes); his wife Ann Bradshaw (Peterson); his siblings, Eugene Raney, Dorothy Snavely and Wanda Hanks; his daughter-in-law Delores Raney; his great grandchild Justin Whiles; and his stepson Terry Bradshaw.
He is survived by: his children, Alvin Raney, Sharon Beresford (Robert) and Myra Raney; his stepson Greg Bradshaw (Jeanee); and his sister Ruby Snavely. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Thomas Cemetery.
