He is survived by: his wife Grace Babbitt; his children, Harold Butts (Sheri) of Springfield, Missouri, Karla Swisher (Jeff) of Wentworth, Missouri and Kirby Butts of Mountain Grove, Missouri; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Butts, Deanna Wright, Emily Swisher, Kirstie Swisher, Ethan Butts, Nate Butts, Travis Butts and Cheyenne Butts; and his sister Charlotte Crowe (Bob) of Mountain Grove, Missouri. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
