She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter DeArmond and Nellie DeArmond (Pittman); her husband Scotty Chadwell of Mountain Grove; and her brother Gene. She is survived by: her children, Scott of Seymour and Vanessa Amelunke; her son-in-law Mark of The Woodlands, Texas; her grandchildren, Sarah Osborn (Ryan) of Bentonville, Arkansas and Josh Amelunke of Houston, Texas; her great grandchild MacKenzie Osborn; her nephew Bill DeArmond (Rosemary) of Wildwood, Missouri; her niece Maria Mingos (Steve) of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; her cousin Frank DeArmond of Seymour; and her caregivers, Sarah, Robin, Sherry, Blanche and Polly. She is also survived by many other family members, students, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Seymour History Museum in care of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, 214 West Clinton Avenue, Seymour, Missouri 65746.
