It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Allen of Mountain Grove, Missouri, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ceril Hutsell and Margaret Lovel Hutsell (Boykin); her husband Bob; her brother Rex Hutsell; and her son Scotty Ray Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Allen (Diane) of Mountain Grove and Sherri Ratterree (Ed) of Cabool; her siblings, Donna Jean Franklin (Bob) of Washington State, Patsy Smart of Oregon and John Francis Hutsell (Jean) of Washington State; her grandchildren, Jenny Lawler (Kevin), Alonda Jones (Lance), John Elliott and Rennette Barnard (Chris); her great grandchildren, Josey, Jane Lawler, Katie Tinsley, Kiara Hurt (Owen), Reina Tinsley, Lacy, Blayne, Kylee, Chase and Azlyn Elliott; and her great great grandchildren, Remington, Claire and Porter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Union Chapel #1 Cemetery (Union Chapel Road, MO 65660).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bob and Doris Allen's honor to either the Wright County Historical Society or the American Legion Post # 30, or Union Chapel Cemetery.
