It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Dooms of Mountain Grove, Missouri, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Delmar Dooms; and his brother Darren Dooms. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Dooms of Springfield; his mother Sandra Dooms (Hartley) of Davenport; his children, Donald Dean Dooms II and Desiree Dooms of Springfield; his brother Doug Dooms of West Plains; his half-brother Dan Ashby (Rose) of Fruitland; his sisters, Rebekah Hillman (Jen) of Davenport and Angela Willingham of Davenport; and his granddaughter Aurora Dooms.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mountain Grove (315 N Main St, Mountain Grove, MO 65711). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the New Hope Cemetery.
