He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Shannon and Cora Shannon (Weaver); his wife Phyllis Shannon; his daughter Vicky Myers; his sisters, Ivon Ault, Jean Hofarth and Sharon Prock; his sister-in-law Geraldine Shannon; and his daughters-in-law, Wanda Shannon and Mary Shannon.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Shannon (DeAnn) and Bob Shannon; his grandchildren, Shane Rabourn (Lori), Matt Shannon (Amy), Desiree Hayes and Nathan Jessee (Ronna); his great grandchildren, Bradley, Jacob, Jackson Rabourn, Kalvin Shannon, Kendall, Kirby Jessee, MaKayla, Braden Morris, Kayli Clevenger and Liza Hayes; and his siblings, Larry Shannon, Howard Shannon, Wallace Shannon, Herb Shannon, Pauline Knotts, Charlene Sumner, Rita Barker and Lola Scobee. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
