It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Robert Barlow of Mount Vernon, Missouri, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Barlow and Mildred Barlow (Gibbeons); his father-in-law Carl Pierce; and his brothers-in-law, Edward and Roger Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Pierce; his son Chad Barlow of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; his cousin Pamela Lillie of Corning, Iowa; his mother-in-law June Winger; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Pierce (Dana) and Jackie Pierce of Augusta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon or the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Mt. Vernon First Presbyterian Church, in care of the funeral home.
