He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Powell and Mildred Powell; his grandparents, Leonard, Pearl Seneker, Luther and Ethel Powell; and his son Bradley Powell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Forsyth and Christin Baird; his grandchildren, Payton Marlin, Caden, Emry Barnett and Aubrey Forsyth; and his sisters, Charlotte Howard and Linda Law. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many extended family.
