We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2024, at the age of 79, Stephen Ray Barnes of Mount Vernon, Missouri, born in Monett, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Barnes and Edna Mae Barnes (Metheny). He is survived by: his wife Terry Nell Brechbuhler; his sons, Derick Barnes (Lisa) of Mt. Vernon and Greg Barnes (Melissa) of Republic, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Hannah Fisher (Jansen) of Republic, Tyler Barnes (Jordan) of Springfield, Josie Barnes of Mt. Vernon and Maddy Barnes of Republic. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Shriners Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, in care of the funeral home.
