He was predeceased by: his parents, Oleary Ulan and Dorothy May Tuten (Barber); and his brother Patrick Tuten. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Marie Thomas; his sons, Phillip Tuten, Jr. (Linda) of Shell Knob, Christopher Tuten (Keri) of Joplin and David Tuten (Ashley) of Willard, Missouri; and his brother Paul Tuten of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
