With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nyanzia Garner of Mount Vernon, Missouri, born in Miller, Missouri, who passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nyanzia Garner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Lee and Sarah Irene "Rena" Welsh (Ross); her husband Leon Roy Garner; her children, Roy Garner and Barbara Sexton; and her siblings, Mary Jones, Neoma Vance, Onalee Holland, Flora Farrell, Martin and Emery Welsh.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Lawmaster (Jimmy) of Mt. Vernon; her son-in-law Terry Sexton of Ozark, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Missy Swope (Steve) of Republic, Marti Jones (Chris) of Neosho, Rena Tella (David) of Ozark, Melissa Garner of Branson, Michele Garner of Springfield and Summer Lawmaster (Shon Hudson). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Trinity Lutheran School, in care of the funeral home.
