He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Jones and Ellen Jones (Frances); his stepmother Beulah; his mother-in-law Vera Jones; his brothers, Danny and Larry Jones; his foster parents, Eleanor Watson and Lindsey Watson; and his foster brothers, Harold, Melvin and Donald Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lou Jones; his children, Kelly Jack (Eric) of Bolivar, Missouri, Dale Jones (Saundra) of Mt. Vernon and Doug Wilks (Angie) of Strafford, Missouri; his brothers, Jessie Jones (Terry) of Amarillo, Ross Jones of Kansas City and Gary Watson (Donna) of Lockwood, Missouri; his grandchild Kasey (Scott); his great grandchildren, Karter, Kamryn, Sydnee and Shaelyn; his grandchild Kelsey; his great grandchildren, Kohen, Kooper, Raelee and Kinzi (Tanner); and also, Blakely, Beckett, Kendra (Eli), Abriella, Piper, Kaden, Trae, Ashley (Jacob) and Addie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Mt. Vernon Veteran's Home, in care of the funeral home.
