He was predeceased by: his parents, David Clarence and Virginia Oronda Surls (Clark); his wife Grace Ann Allred; his son Larry Allen; his grandson Lynn Beeson; his brothers, Lloyd and Gene Surls; and his son-in-law Bill Beeson.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Beeson of Springfield, Kathy Helms (Dan) of Osceola, Missouri, Johnny Allen (Karen) of Miller and Jerry Allen (Terri) of Mt. Vernon; his brother Leroy Surls (Helen) of Moscow Mills, Missouri; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Allen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
