It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Carrington of Mount Vernon, Missouri, born in Monett, Missouri, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Carrington; and his sister Patty Garrett. He is survived by: his mother Melba Carrington (Jones) of Mt. Vernon; his niece Brandy Kluthe (John) of Clinton; his nephew Bo Garrett (Anna) of La Cruz, Mexico; his great-nephew Luke Kluthe; his great-niece Kira Kluthe of Clinton; his brother-in-law Butch Garrett of Battlefield, Missouri; and his uncle Bill Jones (Marge) of Miller.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Vernon where Lee was a member.
