He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. Slankard and Lavesta Slankard; and his wife Erma Slankard. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Ketchum and Nancy Greene; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
