He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fredson and Ruth Frances Lawmaster (Whittenburg); his siblings-in-law, Barbara Sexton and Roy Garner; and his parents-in-law, Nyanzia and Leon Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Garner; his children, Summer Joy Lawmaster and Brendan Lawmaster Hudson of Mt. Vernon; his brothers, Max Lawmaster of Miller and Leonard Lawmaster (Gayla) of Miller; and his brother-in-law Terry Sexton of Ozark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Trinity Lutheran School, in care of the funeral home.
